Store adds caching mechanism with Pear::Cache_Lite module
Today I completed implementing a cache for the arts-link.com store. The cache prevents excessive queries to Amazon.com web services by storing any page that a user requests in the cache on the server for a predetermined length of time. I am setting it at 3 hours for now. I shall experiment and see what works best. This should make the store a lot faster, and make it comply with Amazon Web Services terms of use of limiting the number of request to under 1 per second.
